Fire Files Digitial Library aims to preserve the memory of the fire service past. It is new and small but will be regularly updated as materials are discovered and made available.

- Fire department histories - many excellent fire department histories are available now online but they are often difficult to find. They can sometimes exist largely unnoticed within large university or historical society digital library collections. I've added scores of these to this database in order to create a handy directory to online fire department histories.
About myself - I'm a professional librarian working in a library focused on fire, EMS and emergency management resources.
